The Brightside Trust has won recognition from the London Education Partnership Awards 2007 for its role in widening access to education in London.Over 80 organisations took part in the scheme and The Brightside Trust was the runner up in the category for Voluntary Sector Organisation of the Year.

In the awards ceremony at the Arsenal Football Club Emirates Stadium on 19th June, the charity was presented with artwork designed by Mai Yoshida from University of the Arts London. Prizes were presented by fomer Labour MP, Oona King and Lord Adonis, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Schools.The awards have been developed by the Institute of Education, at the request of the Department of Education and Skills. The aim is to identify and reward London schools, colleges, universities, employers and voluntary organisations who are building dynamic, groundbreaking programmes, schemes that are transforming the expectations and achievements of young people and adults.
